  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup + 2 tablespoons (7oz/187g) water, roughly
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pepperoni
  • 5-minute pizza sauce
  • Grated mozzarella cheese
  • For garnish: fresh oregano or any fresh herbs of your choice


Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix the baking powder, flour, and salt together in a large bowl.

Work them together with your hand or an electric mixer set at medium speed until well blended.

Step 2

Combine the water and oil in a separate container.

Gradually add the water mixture to the flour mixture, and stop adding when you’ve reached your desired consistency.

Step 3

Work the dough with a wooden spoon or your hands until it is soft but not sticky.

Add more water if your dough is too dry.

Lightly dust a work surface and rolling pin with flour, then roll the dough into a 12-inch circle using your hands.

If you want to make 2 smaller pizzas, divide the dough in half before rolling it out.
